Mission Statement

[TBA] is an innovator development company. Our mission is to equip young people with the experiences, tools, and spirit needed to create prosperous lives and civilizations.

What problem are we ultimately trying to solve?

Innovation is the upstream bottleneck of civilization. Enable generations of humans to innovate, and they will be capable of advancing every field, at every scale.

Almost nothing systematically combines self-knowledge development with problem-solving capacity building at scale under genuine pressure. Most education makes problems easier. This company will make people capable of solving harder ones.

Innovation ability isn't a teachable cognitive skill. It's a psychological structure that develops through experience with consequential problems under real constraints. You cannot teach someone to be an innovator by delivering content. You can only create conditions where innovation capacity emerges - through agency, desire, and rapid feedback loops that force genuine adaptation.

What are we building?

The core product will be a series of “challenges” - simulations, games, and widgets; for example, time-pressured narrative crises, game-theoretic scenarios, creative constraint problems, philosophical stress-tests through AI personas, and complex system management. Each is designed to surface specific patterns in how someone thinks and decides under pressure.

After each challenge, an AI companion called EVE conducts structured reflection, building a longitudinal profile: how they handle uncertainty, when they give up, what updates their beliefs, where they avoid difficulty, what motivates them. EVE is not a tutor. She doesn't deliver content. She holds the user's future self in mind and relates to them as if that innovator already exists - drawing out what's latent rather than depositing what's missing.

Future challenges will range from learning how to play with a simple tool to creating an in-universe civilization from the ground up alongside friends - the aim is to design challenges that feel as consequential as “real life” situations and as compelling as the best games children play. Each challenge is designed to develop experience with thinking for yourself, making your own decisions, and constantly correcting your errors - the essence of innovation.

Most educational experiences fail because they manufacture urgency through points and badges rather than creating meaningful stakes around personal development. We will create authentic stakes through four mechanisms:

  • Identity revelation - Challenges surface genuine self-discovery. What you do under pressure reveals who you are.
  • Irreversibility - No do-overs. Decisions have real consequences within the challenge and carry forward into your profile.
  • Compounding investment - Your persistent profile and evolving relationship with EVE means early choices shape later possibilities.
  • Witnessed becoming - EVE faithfully tracks your growth across time. Someone is watching you become who you're becoming.

Guiding Questions

  • What would the world look like if every young person had the confidence and ability to innovate toward their heart’s wildest dreams?
  • What would the world look like if all young people were prepared to innovate across their lifetimes?
  • Which single metric would convince you that we're truly amplifying human agency rather than merely entertaining users?

Company Values

  • Devotion to the mission
    • All decisions are downstream of how a decision helps us develop innovators over the long term
  • Seek deep understanding
    • We get to the root of issues, seek to ask the “right questions”, and try to understand the game behind the game
  • Urgent error correction
    • We seek to quickly identify and remove obstacles in the way of our product-developing innovators
  • Maximal personal agency
    • Extreme ownership, single DRIs for each decision made at the company, permission assumed in all things, no middle management, person with the most demonstrable expertise/judgment makes decisions in that realm
  • Excellence is the standard
    • “You’re going to work harder than you’ve ever worked”, “You’re going to create the greatest work you can possibly create”

Challenge Values

  • Promotes agency
    • Empowers participants to take charge of their learning, growth, and decision-making.
  • Champions fallibilism
    • Encourages the understanding that knowledge is always tentative and that we learn through making mistakes and correcting them. Participants should be constantly hypothesizing, testing, iterating, and critiquing both their own ideas and those of others.
  • Strengthens connection
    • To self, to fellow humans, and to the universe. Enables a deeper sense of self-understanding, a deeper companionship with peers, and a deeper knowledge about the world.
  • Surfaces compelling, consequential, and creative decisions
    • Enthralls participants with immersive choices that have tangible impact on the platform and on their growth. Naturally pushes participants to come up with creative ways to solve challenging problems. Allows participants to realize the impact of their decisions.
  • Feels like play
    • Engages a participant’s faculties in the way that being in flow does. Learning and growth are never boring or high-stress, self-contained, or lacking passion!
